Anne-Sophie de Saint Ours is heading to Nepal for a 15-day expedition
Setting off from Lyon with a total of 22 kg of gear, he’s scheduled to arrive in Kathmandu tomorrow morning, with a single goal in mind: to make his way, step by step, toward the summit. One more summit for his son Maël, who passed away from leukemia in August 2022. But this climb is more than just a tribute.
Anne-Sophie also climbs to give other children—who are now in remission—the chance to enjoy a memorable mountain experience with their families.
The funds raised will go toward financing mountain retreats, the first of which will take place on June 20 and 21, 2026.
Well-prepared, determined, and confident, she is heading toward this summit for Maël and his organization, Des Sommets pour une Etoile.
