ADN Transition AfterWork Event in Lyon : A Charity Event in Support of the Mera Peak Ascent

ADN Transition organized an after-work event in Lyon as part of its sponsorship partnership with the nonprofit organization Des Sommets pour une Étoile. For one evening, we reserved the Comptoir Phénix exclusively to bring together executives and interim managers for a deeply moving experience.

Screening of the film “The Ascent of Mera Peak”

The highlight of the evening was the screening of a film directed by Anne-Sophie de Saint Ours chronicling the ascent of Mera Peak, a Nepalese peak rising to 6,476 meters. This challenge, undertaken in support of the nonprofit organization Des Sommets pour une Étoile, combines pushing one’s limits with solidarity, a project that left no one in the audience unmoved.

The charity “Des Sommets pour une Étoile” was founded by Anne-Sophie de Saint Ours to help children in remission from leukemia, whether currently undergoing treatment or fully recovered—fulfill their dreams alongside their families. This commitment stems from a deeply moving personal story, which the ascent of Mera Peak symbolically embodies: reaching a summit as a symbol of hope and resilience.

An evening that left a lasting impression

Combining the power of her personal story with the scope of the project, this event in Lyon sparked numerous discussions among the participants—including executives and interim managers, who had come to learn about Anne-Sophie de Saint Ours’s commitment and the work of her organization.

ADN Transition would like to extend its warmest thanks to the team at Comptoir Phénix for their hospitality, as well as to everyone who attended this inspiring evening of solidarity.
