Interim management or interim executive?

The proliferation of interim management firms reflects the growth of executive temporary staffing.

The interim management market is experiencing rapid growth in France. But behind this rise, confusion remains: what is the difference between a genuine interim management firm and a disguised executive temporary staffing service?

Abuses in the sector : temporary executive work disguised as interim management.

Today, some market players present themselves as interim management firms, when in fact they simply post ads on LinkedIn to find an available manager, without providing any real support. These firms:

  • no longer have a pool of qualified, experienced managers,
  • operate solely on an opportunistic basis by posting job offers,
  • provide little or no follow-up on assignments,
  • sometimes offer lower rates, but with no guarantee of results.

The values of interim management.

Originally, interim management was based on high-level support, provided by partners or former senior executives who were able to:

  • understand the client’s strategic challenges,
  • select a manager who was truly suited to the situation,
  • support the manager throughout the assignment,
  • guarantee rapid and measurable operational results.

At ADN, this is the vision we uphold.
