Jean-Denis Combrexelle brilliantly and humorously recounted his experiences and the reasons behind his book Les normes à l’assaut de la démocratie (Standards Under Attack: Democracy Under Siege), published by Odile Jacob.

Using several examples from his career in the Council of State and the civil service, he provided a structured insight into the growing importance of standards and the challenges this poses in public management and in the life of businesses.

A few questions from the participants allowed for further reflection, before the discussions continued over cocktails in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere.
